Leaking At V-band....

yea... so i found a leak from my turbo to my downpipe... should i just tighten the clamp really really tight? i don't want to break it... or should i use some type of sealant??? thanks

What I do whenever my front pipe goes on is put some grease on the inside of the v-band. It will tell you right away if there's a leak there or not. It will eventually burn off, so give the v-band time to "warp" to each other. Don't tighten it down super duper ooper tight though.

its a flange that i ordered from innovative... though the clamp has 3 spaces in it (allows it to tighten) i might order a clamp from rotary extreme... it is a two peice clamp, but seems like it would be a lil better.... the leak is small... i just don't like the sound....
