I have a T04S 60-1 that Im getting ready to put on my car ( waiting on my HKS manifold which is in the mail... ) and while imagining how its going to fit, it seems that the oil feed/return will not be vertical. From the pictures I have found, the HKS flange seems to be perpindicular to the ground. When I orient the flange on the turbo that way, the feed/return is at a ~45°. Is that ok?

I know you can clock the compressor housing, but can I clock the exhaust housing too? If I take any of that stuff off, does it need to be rebalanced or anything?

Yes you can reclock the exhaust housing also. There is no rebalancing necessary, all you are doing is turning the housing.

it doesn't have to be vertical to flow, thats what oil pressure is for. I've seen any number of angles and loops etc in the feed.

The feed is fine...but the return should be at the 6 o'clock position.

Ok...Now to clock the exhaust housing, I just have to take out the bolts circled in blue right?

Or is it the bolts in green...

Instinct tells me to go with blue.

While I know a good amount about turbos and how they work, Ive never taken one apart :(

blue ones hold the compressor housing back plate to the center cartridge.
