Has anyone used this turbo or any HKS turbo and have the bullet nut spin off? I will post pics as soon as I get them. Seems kinda freakish. I have never really messed with HKS turbos much but I think it looks like a garret turbo. Anyhow any input would be nice.

Dude there was a thread about that exact thing at 7club not that long ago. Apparently it's pretty common for that nut to come off.

Bummer for Aaron dude. Lucky for him the turbo was free.

I like Aaron and all but that musics got no soul man. They play it well but it sounds like everything else on the radio these days. I guess i am no fan of Top 40 pop rock.

Thats a bummer. Do they have torque specs for those things? I wonder if HKS has a spec they're suppose to use?

I wonder if some adhesive should be applied to the threads and then spec tightend. That way it wont throw the balance off.Or they(HKS) should make it a counter thread to spin. I wonder how many outside of the HKS stuff does this happen. I haven.t seen any post.
