I am more then likely changing plans for my FC as new sponsorship opportunities are coming in and the car will more then likely be track only now...thus I have dropped the GT35/40 setup I was going with and have now leaned more in the direction of the HKS TO4R w/ the .96AR. I believe aspec is building or has built their own TO4R turbo...but for now I'll stick w/ HKS. Anybody on here running it w/ a ported motor? I have seen it on MKIV supras and the owners have nothing but good things to say about it...I'm thinking a good 16psi should be obtainable by around 4K RPM..while hitting over 20psi shortly after..
anybody have some opinions w/ this turbo on 13Bs? My EMS should be in and done w/ by spring so turbo is next up... |

I have that turbo... Haven't run yet, as I'm putting together the car... But it sure LOOKS nice !!

When I rode in Mitch's car I think I remember it spooling around 4k or so.

I think that it will depend on what kind of porting job you have done to the engine as well. There are so many port jobs to choose from. A partial bridge or full bridge will spool it by then. But I don't know if a street port would or not. Just my .02
