I've got a Haltech Boost Controller on my E6K and connected port 2 to the Turbo's Boost Source and Port 3 to the Wastegate.
So valve in default open position will use standard boost levels. So Port 1 should then go to my air cleaner? Or should I run the wastegate fully blocked? Anyone have experience with this? |
hmm never seen one that had 3 ports! air cleaner sounds like it would be fine.

That is for an External Wastegate and I have internal. I know there are several ways to do this.. The BLEED METHOD, Where you T the solenoid in the line to bleed off pressure to keep the wastegate from opening thus creating more boost. Or the BLOCK METHOD, where the solenoid is used to block the wastegate. I was going to use this but in normally open mode, so in case of a solenoid failure, boost levels would return to stock. |
i personally like the block method...

Any idea where I should run the 3rd line? (The vent)... I was thinking I could just vent it, or the air cleaner. |
