Is there another ball bearing Garrett GT turbo that is slightly larger than the GT35/40? (maybe with a T4 flange and turbine)
Thanks! |

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683621.gif Something I have never understood, is why does everyone hate on the Gt series turbos and t3 manifolds, when a gt35/40 works pretty well for a street car.. I know the exhaust side is small in all, but damn it can't be that small... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif
Or is it just the gt 35/40 kits have big a/rs 1.15+ therefore its like a smaller a/r t4? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif |
T3 is small. If never plan on boosting higher than 15 psi...get the gt35/40. Just pray that you don't blow your motor....or you'll be buying a very expensive turbo as well.

BBs are much more expensive, but the spool up time is supposedly worth it. Is 15 psi the most efficient for the GT35/40? (I don't have the compressor map)

ATP Turbo Garrett GT Series ATP sez they get in a couple ball bearing ones every few months, usually pre-sold for $1950. Check this thread |
