Hey
How well will the greddy 2 ROW v-spec work with the GT35/40 turbo,i'll just be street driving and definitely not going past 15 lbs for longtivity and reliability issues. After i get new engine in i'll have stock turbo for a few months till i get the suspension upgraded a bit.I just dont know if this is the right intercooler to get,i mean it says its good for upto 15 lbs.if someone has a better suggestion for a intercooler please let me know. This is for a s5 turbo. Thanks |
The GReddy vspec will work 'OK' with the gt35/40 for the 15psi level your looking at. On a street car, you should be fine. However, if you plan to bump the psi levels up more, you would need to look into GReddy's higher lineup of FMICs, or just contact me, we make bar & plate FMICs that will handle well over 20psi and the piping can be prebent to fit the gt35/40 provided it uses the same manifold as our kits(for location reasoning)...

Yea..our FMICs are good for street use as well. A lot of the big time drag guys don't even use intercoolers.
The bar & plate design that we use is extremely strong and durable and flows better then the GReddy as well...actually within the next month, we are going to try to get a package deal together..FMIC, GT35/40, exhaust, and standalone EMS....but we'll see... |
I believe the V-spec core is for the stock turbos. The 2 row R spec core is for the single turbo.
