wraith 08-15-2003 06:08 PM

WishIhadaRX7 08-15-2003 06:23 PM

a lot of people still use em though

apexkw 08-15-2003 07:13 PM

the boost controoler is an add-on for the power fc , like $500, it's basically the same as getting the avc-r. uses the same soilnoid and stuff. Better off with a stand alone boost controller though. As far as all those lines go.....JUNK THEM. I have a similar setup(pfc,to4e,blah blah blah) Theese are my vaccum lines. 1 from manifold to the BOV, 1 from manifold to map sensor, 1 from manifold to wastegate, 1 from wastegate to boost solinoid, 1 from soilinoid to manifold, 1 from manifold to FPR. Thats about it yep a whole 6 lines https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

You can use the PFC to control your turbo as is. The $500 kit is just for solenoids and a MAP sensor for High Boost

I think the stock boost sensor only reads to 1.1 bar over that it is good idea to get a 2.0 bar sensor.

I think it reads to 1.15 to 1.2 kilos of boost.

boost control kit is way cheaper than $500 now. more like $350. it was $500 when i got one of the first ones two years ago https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Will the E6K control boost?

What do you do with all the small pipes that used to have vac hoses connected to them...just cap them or what?

That assembly that the metal pipes mount to comes out, just take it out and run the manitory vaccum lines.
