Do any of you hear a lot of noise when hitting boost above 4 grand? Like the universal is hitting. I never noticed any of that before, mounted just fine and I hear the expected whirl and hum from the direct mount but this roars when you get on it( racing) above 4,000.
Thanks |
My diff brace never made that sort of noise.

no noise hear.

im guessing that its your muffler....
i noticed that when i put in my racing beat dual.... its kinda calm before 4k, then after that it just screams.....probably cuz the turbos are switching over to parallel around that time |

From the way it looks, the brace puts a good amount of pressure on everything to keep it all snug, so mabye something is broken and rattling around when you get on the gas hard. |
hmmm. i'm not quite sure what the noise is a banging ?
|
oh s***t
than add that to the list of stuff.Man I dont get it this thing is like my fergan Harley except that thing brakes every at hundred dollar mark. The brace fitted fine except I did some exhaust work. It is single T. what is the PPF excuse my ignorance on the acronym. Man sometimes ya just want to put the phone next to the car and say " man ya her that? What the hell is doing that? Is that normal?Wut do ya think?" Thanks Guys. |
Make sure everything is bolted down right and nothing is rubbing. Itsa tight fit. You could also try putting some rubber between the frame and the brace.
|
Yeh, I told that to Rich at Gotham the other day when we spoke.
He said just let it set in .But we spoke before the install. I rack it this week to check it out. |
PPF is power plant frame. Connects trans to diff

You pretty much have to drop it to find cracks. It normally breaks at the welds but sometimes its real hard to spot the breaks cause they open and close with pressure
STEPHEN |
It can crack anywhere, but usually I see breaks near the bolt holes.
