I have a single setup with the air pump removed....i was told about crank case ventilation and to make sure that it was not capped...i was just wondering there is this line right below where my air pump was..it is a metal line...and it has very slight oil droplets in it....i wanted to know is that that the line of the crank case ventilation cause originaly that lines goes to the intake of the turbo when the twins are in....

your help would be greatly appreciated............

Yes thats it , you can confirm by tracing the line back to the oil filler neck , may I suggect you install a separator of some type between the filler neck and the turbos suction to avoid excessive oil ingestion (by your motor , of course).

Or you could attack an oil catch can https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Catch can , separator ......... same thing , I got the GREDDY catch can and modified it by puttin in another nipple which is to be connected to my turbos suction so I can get some vacuum in there. So now have three points , the two original ones (one with the check valve for off boost operation thet goes directly into the UIM , and the other connecting to one of the catch tank nipples ) and a third new one that I run from the (metal) oil filler cap to the catch tank using -8 braided line .

DuMaurier, could you show a picture of what you're talking about? That sounds really cool, but I'd like to see a pic so I can see exactly what you are talking about. Thanx in advance.
