What is the biggest size Turbo you can through on the RX7 TII that would be reliable and safe but yet still give a decent amount of whp? What are the best turbo making companies and what should I do to prepare to put in a new and bigger turbo.I should get an intercooler and a new radiator right?Any info would be great.

do yourself a favor and don't worry about that for the time being. When you do i suggest the obligatory HKS cast manifold with garrett 60-1 setup (HKS wastegate etc). Choose your exhaust side based on how big you want to go and that will be more than a handful on the street.

To make safe, reliable power you'll probably want to start out my rebuilding that motor. Considering its a Jspec you don't know who built it, how old it is, and what he condition is internally. I say rebuild it into a really tight motor before proceeding or get another one and build that up for WHEN this one goes.

Next, get a full exhaust and intake...guess what? your stock turbo has pretty much just maxed out your fuel system. Even with an upgraded pump you are looking pretty borderline for 550s, my personal suggestion is to add 1600 secondaries and a couple of nice pumps. Eliminate the pulsation damper while you are at it and put in an adjustable regulator.

Next you'll need something to control all that, i don't care what anyone says, there is NO way to control all the upgrades necessary for an upgraded turbo on a Tii without a standalone, so budget for that too.

Next the small stuff will nickle and dime you do death. At the very least you will want a boost and water temp gauge, most likely EGT, and oil temp and pressure. Wideband O2 will also be very useful for tuning (read: essential). Then you'll need a clutch to hold that power and you'll definately want to upgrade your brakes. Brakes are only as good as the tires so you'll probably want rims and tires as well, plus you'll need something beefy out back to put the power down.

Even to run your car with hard with the stock turbo in the summertime you'll want an upgraded radiator. Big turbo definatly needs a front mount also unless you come up with some sort of other location to put it with a vented hood. Thats all i can think of now, but remember this stuff gets REALLY expensive REALLY fast but anyone on here already knows that.

I'm with the little guy!

After all your engine/fuel/colling mods, there are a few nice turbos. Hybrid stocks are relatively cheap

Nah. Stuff it, put a T-88 on it and run it at 30psi. She'll go hard.
