I am looking for decent prices on NGK plugs heat range 10.5 or 11. I have found one or two places but they seem very expensive and I have heard that there are a few places on the net to get them fairly cheap. Can someone give Me an idea or a link if You know of a good place?
Thanks Steve |
if you find a place to get them cheap let me know !
|
Let me know too, maybe I can email them and get us a group discount. **** we could probably buy 200 of the fuckers.

i'll ask judge ito which ones he recommends.... i know he has some at the shop but they are $25 each i think |
You get blinker fluid to go with your $25.00 spark plugs?
|
Cant forget headlight fluid, you want normal or halogen?
|
Like I say, if we can get someone who will deal with us I will buy a bulk and dish them out from there. Everyone needs spark plugs!
|
Ok so what's the difference between these plugs and the NGK plugs that I get locally? I think they are the bur9???? I'm not sure. Can someone please explain why these plugs are in such high demand and cost so much?
|
they are *race* plugs..... they aren't very popular either. they are very COLD plugs for a good spark at high boost
|
Would they be good for my TII, moded daily driver?
|
I will dig up this go kart site that sells them gor $3-$5.

Whoa...you guys are talking about running 10 range plugs on fairly stock cars. I run all 9's on my car(bur9eq). 10 is a cold plug...meaning that start up will be VERY ROUGH until you get the plugs warmed up...and with 10's...it may take a LONG while.
10's IMO would be good for a circuit car, but definitely NOT a daily driver. |
Cool just wondering if I was running the right plug for my car and mods. I'm running the 9's right now so it's no big deal. I just wanted to learn something new. Thanks.

Just remember with extremely cold plugs, the car is started and warmed up on normal plugs. Then shut down and the plugs are changed out to the cold plugs

I had some awsome fine wire plugs for the GT2 car. they were nippondenso.
i used to go in to autozone and get em. They didnt sell much and the store quit carrying them.I got the first set from ex IMSA driver and then used those. Well I ******* forgot what the code was on them. You dont see this type of plug unless some one knows. I talked to Leonard Hughes formallyof Candies&Hughes (smoking joe camel)yesterday and he said that a fine wire plug is the way to go and just be in close to you heat range. I showed him our plugs.he said that that design wasnt as effeceint as fine wire indexed plug.It design was to compensate. (thats why split fire is bull **** too)The spark will always got to the point of least resistance so even on our plugs it will almost always jump the same arm. If I find out I will let you guys know. maybe some one out there can search too.(Its not made for an RX7 though but its awsome) |
25.00 is a bit steep, I am going to look further into getting these for cheaper. A highly modified car will run much better on the cold plugs esp. with after market coils and boxes.Anyone else?

Jims5543 , What is the difference between the EG, EVX, and EGV? Will all these plugs work with Our motor? That is what I am having a hard time figuring out, which plugs are the correct number to safely use! I think the EGV is the one we need, is that right?
Thanks for the replies. |
whoah, anyone tried the go kart plugs? that **** is cheap. which part numbers does the fd use?
|
So is the EV the only one that will work or what is the difference?
