well i have an apexi fmic sitting at the shop. i wanted to get a greddy 3row to go along with my greddy T78 kit but nobody wants to buy the apexi and the greddy 3row nobody has in stock. does anyone think i will even notice a difference between the two performance wise ??

vosko, I know of a guy who had the apex IC on a 94 making 360+ HP on the stock twins. He has switched to the T-88, and his car made good power. The T-78 is working well with my IC--temps going no higher than 20 degrees F above ambient--and it's smaller than the apex.

Both are good cores but if you do alot of street driving the Apex core shows more dents.

Hey Vos, if I had to do it again, Id get the Greddy. The Apexi is nice, but it sits alot higher than the Greddy and much further back. It doesn't fill the mouth of your bumper nearly as much either.........just my .02 https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/BURNOUT.gif

Never had a problem with my Apex unit. I was thinking about going Greddy too but they both perform pretty much the same so I decided to stick with mine. Two things I didn't like about the Apex was the piping and the fact that it sat further back in the car then most FMICs

right when i almost decided to keep it..... i think i finally found a 3row in stock !!!! :smilewinkgrin:

i sold it DIRT CHEAP already. sorry. its a really nice intercooler but i went from xs t04s and apexi fmic to full greddy t78 and greddy 3row. 3row greddy costs ALOT more but its all polished and looks nicer.

Why did you get rid of the T04S and replace it with a T78? I thought the T04S similar top end power as a t78 with a lot earlier spool up times. I am considering going with a T04S.

the main reason i didn't go with the T04S was because i paid for it and i NEVER GOT IT! so i said screw it and purchased the greddy T78 kit, greddy 3row and greddy type r bov. both kits are real nice but the greddy T78 kit was only $400 more. intercooler was $400 more also. the fit and finish of the greddy pieces are just a bit higher than xs and apexi. i'm anxious to see how much rwhp i can put down when my car runs. nyttt(has t04s and greddy 3row) so we are gonna have a dyno battle https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/devil.gif
