I was wondering if I plan to turbo a rotary motor (kit car project) should I look for a turbo II or just plan on adding a custom kit to a regular 13B? I guess my question is wether the turbo II's motor is internally different from the regular 13B. Exhuast, turbo, and misc. plumbing is not a major issue since I will need/want to fab custom pieces anyway.
Thanks, Charles |
Your probably better off going with a TII, since your gona need the ecu and wiring for it to work.

I was going to use a haltech or felpro fmu. When you say everything is different what exactly internally has changed in a turbo engine. Forgive my ignorance when it comes to the rotary. Lost of times in a piston engine when the factory turbo's it they add better quality pistons, rods, crank ect...I was wondering what mazda changed internally.
