Thats what I'm shooting for. Ballpark 400rwhp at 14-15lbs with a large streetport. And reliable enough to daily drive if i so choose.

If you are shooting for 400rwhp at around 14-15 psi then I would say get the GT35R. I think you would get that power pretty easily with the large street port since some guys were getting 400 rwhp at 15 psi or so with the stock ports. Most people with the GT35R run it around 15psi I think but one guy over on RX7club was upping the boost, he thinks he can hit 500 rwhp with boost slightly over 20psi.

GT35 51mm = 42lb/min @ 23psi up to 390 rwhp

55mm=52lb/min@26.5psi up to 475 rwhp

maybe gt 40 or 62/1 turbo be better.

The GT35R which he is looking at is 68mm so it is capable of more power than that GT35 you are referring to. At the boost he wants to run he will get 400 rwhp and really fast spool with the 35R.

You would. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

I don't know much about the R85 but it does offer more room to grow over the GT35R.
