Why Is Porting Still Done By Hand?

This would make the best sense of all by my guessing. One of the major factors on power increase due to porting is t he port shape. If this can be done with a CNC and the rest of the runners ported by hand you do not need to worry about the port shape, sliding way with your bit etc.



Cost will be the issue but then again.. I would consider it.

mazdacomp used to sell housings with the bridge cnc'd into em. they werent finished at all, the cnc was just to speed things up

actually that isnt a chip, but im sure that was one of the first ones they made, and by the time 10 were done they would have the process corrected
