The 1986-92 RX-7 Strut Tower Brace is a one-piece cast aluminum unit that braces the struts against each other to reduce chassis flex and the resulting vague handling. This attractively designed brace is powder-coat painted with a durable high-gloss white finish and has an engraved silver-on-black Racing Beat logo recessed into the stiffening ribs.
The Strut Tower Brace is designed for easy installation, requiring only a floor jack and common hand tools. Due to the adjustment mechanism that was incorporated into the adjustable factory shocks, this brace does not fit on cars equipped with Auto-Adjust suspensions. This brace will be compatible if these adjustable shocks have been replaced with aftermarket shocks, and this adjustment mechanism has been removed.
