Ok so ive heard of people using TII leading coils because they are more reliable or something. Now will they plug into the fd harness?? and is there any difference in the TII coil or gxl or stock second gen??? Thanks

as far as i know the fd uses one exturnal ignitor where as the fc uses one ignitor for the leading coils and one ignitor per coil trailing,

what i have found that works great for me is 4 microtech/boshe coils with a fd ignitor, wired properly there is no problem, now i run a wolf 3d so the wiring may be differnt for a stock pcm. but i do have a wireing diagram if anyone would like to know how to wire in 4 coils with a fd ignitor.

Why not upgrade to 4 MSD coils? Fairly inexpensive, reliable, and powerful- Look HERE!!!

PM me with any questions-

You should post up the information on how to wire up the 4 coils with an FD ignitor.

Suggestions for us who use the Power FC? I haven't found a way to get rid of the ignitor and still keep the PFC.
