Started Engine Removal

I'm surprised as how smoothly it's going so far. When we removed the intercooler hoses, we noticed a coating of oil around the edges of the hoses, is this a normal thing? I'll update later with pics.

yeah its normal. As long as it isnt *a lot* of oil.

After a few hours of work, we got this much done. We took a break to go and get an engine hoist.

No seriously, I don't think there is a start to finish thread covering the topic, for any generation RX, hopefully I am wrong.

This is an earlier picture, we now are ready to just unbolt the tranny and lift it out, but time caught up with us so it's a project for tomorrow.
