I was on a website checking out the specifications for the FD's in the US and saw that they sold them in 92? So is it actually a 4 year run model or did they just produce them for 4 years and sold them for 3? *uber confuzzled* And why did they put such ugly interior in the R1's?

Cars were actually being made/produced in the factorys in 92 to be sold in 93. If you read the vin on some FDs they will say they were made in 92 and some in 93

LOL, I think they're better looking. And I understand that the R1 interior is considered more desirable, especially for those who occasionally track they're cars. But maybe that's just me.

I think he was referring to the seats, at least I hope he was. Not much different elsewhere, enough to call it ugly anyways. The suede doesn't look so great in photo's...*shrug*

Yeah I was referring to the seats. That's what I figured on the years but why would they make more in 1995? *takes tons of nyquil*

I love my r1 seats

does anyone know an effective way to patch a hole in one? I had a screwdriver in my back pocket and it went through the seat!!!

its kinda funny. the 93 rx7's were made from 12/91 to 8/92ish, so not a single one of them was actually made in the 1993 calander year.
