I already re-assmebled the engine. It has to go back to Mazda for the core exchange.

 

what happened with the payment on the engine? are they letting you do anything with the warranty?

 

No but it was worth a shot. With the new engine I get 12K to blow it up no questions asked!!!!

funny part is, most of the times a seal is broken, it happens after the detonation. at idle or cruising. not under a load.. basically after the fact.

 

I don't think I'll get another RX8 again....my next project will be some kind of Turbo RX7, either a 1st gen, or a nice S5.......car payments suck....
