I hollowed out my main cat but left one little one. It pops pretty good now so i assume its from the exhaust but i don't think there is flames. If i hallow out the precat will it then shoot flames and how big?

 

if ur gonna hollow them, why go through all the trouble, just go to an exhaust shop and have them take it off, no point in running cats if ur just gonna hollow them out.

Exhaust shops cant legally take off cats. Gutting the cat takes like 10 minutes when its off the car.

 

im talking take the cats off then get strait pipes welded in there, sorry for not being specific, but ya thats what i mean, I know they cant take them off, either that or get a RB presilencer or MP.

 

My N/A shot flames. It was running like **** when it did it. but it did.



It was running ungodly rich. So rich that it wouldn't idle, and when you floored it it would max out at 5k rpms and not go any higher. When you let off the gas from there, it made big loud dull sounds and flames. The exaust was dual straight pipes back to a pair of free flow mufflers.
