Default rx8 firing on rear l & T plug

Hi , I'm new here so I hope I posted this in the correct place. Sorry in advance if not.

Rebuilt the motor had the motor started twice. it was hard to strat and had to go through the de flood cycle several times. Ran for 2 minutes and died. Sounded nice while running. Died like you turned the key off.

New ls coils, wires and plugs. All check out good. I checked fire to the leading plugs at one point and they were both firing, the car started, ran a few minutes and then died. Pulled the plugs again to de flood, checked the fire to the plugs again and the leading and trailing plug on the second rotor are both firing. If i am correct only the leading plugs fire while cranking.

I marked the four coil plugs 1-4 and identified by the wire colors, they are in the correct position and not accidently placed in the wrong spot. Put the old coils and wires back on and it did the same thing.

The eccentric shaft timing plate (crank sensor and plate ) are in good condition, flat with crisp corners on all of the teeth. The bolt pattern on the eccentric shaft pulley are offset so getting it on backwards is not possible.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
