i recently bought a 2004 rx8 6 speed for 12.5 with 33k miles on it...i wasnt going to keep it but it kinda grew on me. i would like to strart modding out the motor, and get ready for turbo, but dont know were to start first...any suggestions would be apreciated....

Sounds like you wanna drag.. Wrong car my friend. Coilovers is something I wish I got first...night and day difference. Just my recommendation. If it helps any, check out my blog for my list of mods. That will give you a good idea.

That is a good short list. Coils/plugs/wires would be a nice thing to start with since the stock ones don't last very long and people commonly neglect replacing them. Yours are probably originals.

Best bet is to go FI. Like SC or Turb. I got all the boltons but its nothing like driving a FI car. Your best bet is to ask for a drive in a FI 8 and drive your car and see what you want to do.
