We were out gassing up his car at the time so we drove it about 5 miles back to his house with the front rotor cussing a screamin the whole way.

That same thing happened to Stan at SDJ. When the RX-8 first came out he got a motor from the dearler, brought it back to the shop and broke it down and did some mods to the inside to see what kind of power we could get from it. Well, we never did see any power cause the damn thing blew up. It did the same thing yours did.



Can these motors have internal mods done, I couln't tell. I'll stick with the ol' 13B, thank you

Put some S5-6 turbo rotors in there and stop messing around with high CR and boost.

wow..... i've seen blown motors but that looks like someone poured some metal shavings into the intake...



did you guys pinpoint the reason of the motor blowing up?
