Not only that, But the Instrument Cluster only goes to 10k.... there is no 11k, so youd be putting the needle past the numbers

the only way you hit 11k is if the rev limiter was removed my rev limit kicks in at 10k

The rev limiter just cuts the ignition it does not physically stop the engine from reving. It is quite possible that you went to 11K by missing a shift. You can do the same by down shifting incorrectly. You may want to pull the spark plugs and look for silver colored deposits on the plug. You can also use a bore scope to look at the inside of the rotor housing for damage. You are probably ok though.
You bought the wrong car if your into drag racing. Take it to the twistys and walk away from that bullit.
