Hi, my name is MarK, and I am hoping to sell my rx7. I bought the car for around 700 this past March with 114k on the odo, and I thought that now is as good of a time as any to rebuild the engine.So, along with my father, who is Professional Mechanical Engineer, we rebuilt the engine using upgraded rotary apex seals and springs from Rotary Avaition, and the compression is superb now. We also addedd all new compression oil rings impregnated with Teflon which allows them greater durability, also new gaskets everywhere. We carbon- Descoured the housings and rotors, they were gleaming when reinstalled, and we added a new pressure plate, throwout bearing and new clutch disk. We reinstalled everything, but thank God, i was accepted to pharmacy school and have not had time to finish some minor things.

You would have to:

Reinstall radiator and plastic intake pipe

reconnect about 4 wires

put belits on (I opted to go with the single belt alternator conversion which is already installed.

put oil into engine (Synthetic- I already bought it) and replace oil filter (already bought it)

This will take a good half-day for you guys, and I hope someone can have as much fun driving it, as I did rebuilding it. Again, I'm looking for your best offer. I don't even remember how much i paid for the rebuild, but I am hoping not to loose too much money:).
