For local pickup only, must be towed, cannot be driven. Well, long story short... A couple months ago the car was written off, it sustained heavy damage to the rear driver's side. In my opinion, it wouldn't be worth the trouble to try and repair it. I'm pretty sure the rails are at least a bit tweaked/ bent, the rear driver's side wheel has about 15 degrees of both toe in, and negative camber (obvious suspension component damage, control arm/ arms, possibly a shock, etc). I'll get to the point... For sale is the car as a whole, I do not want to rip out the engine our part anything out that requires much effort to remove. Most of the interior is still good, the hatch is undamaged, the sunroof (metal) is fine, last I had it working it needed a bit of help to start moving, it does have rear seats, the interior is blue. Powerplant: List of mods: S5 TII Motor – rebuilt & street ported (~12,000kms on motor or about 7,500 miles) New (used) transmission, maybe about 400 miles on that Additional TII fuel injectors SDS supplementary fuel controller TII fuel pump Steel Braided fuel/oil lines Front mount intercooler, has quite a few bent fins on the back side, works fine, does the job, but I'd probably swap it out, maybe get a bigger one while at it too Custom stainless intercooler piping - if memory serves me correctly, it's 2.5", I'm pretty sure of that. Either 2.5 or 3, no less, but 95% sure it's 2.5" Turbosmart manual boost controller TurboXS Type H BOV - really loud, wasn't my choice, came with the car, but it get's everyone's attention. Electric fan 6 puck copper plate clutch - installed at the same time that the tranny was put in, so about 400 miles on that. Flywheel was resurfaced at that this point too. 3" down pipe - bent to ****, pretty useless right now Dual 2.5" custom stainless exhaust with dual Saber mufflers - don't remember the condition of these from the last time I was underneath the car, I'd take it they are bent too, and one of the mufflers ripped off during the accident, so, they are probably no good too. B+G Springs/ KYB shocks - 3/4 should still be good, maybe the 4th as well. Autometer A/F & Boost Gauge - I don't see why they wouldn't be fine. Relocated battery to rear - Useless, the car was hit RIGHT where the battery was. It tipped over and a bit of acid spilled on the carpet in the rear. No biggie, can't even tell. Sparco pedals - Again, they came with the car... The car does not have a shifter knob, I'm keeping it for memory and throwing it into the next FC project (LS1) Memphis Audio speakers - Should be fine still. Any more questions feel free to ask, I'll go find some pictures to post right now... |
Oh, as far as what I want for it...
Make me an offer, I want it out of here ASAP, I just bought yet 2 more cars and need the room. Any serious offer will definitley be considered. |
The last picture is when I already started tearing into the car.
The original idea was to rip out the engine and swap it into the '86 shell. But, with the kind of power that I want to get out of it, I'll be blowing the 13BT left and right. I'll get more pictures soon too, under the hood and whatnot. Oh, and yes, there is minimal front end damage too from hopping the curb, plus I kind of went sideways into and took out a speed limit post. Anyways, cheers, and thanks for looking. |
what kind of offers you get so far? i might be interested....
