my engine is a KLZE engine, and i have a 75 shot of NOS nitrous and i have all the usualy boltons and a UR pulley kit.



not any car with a swap is fast....... hondas, always slow. but thas besides the point, 2nd gen rx-7s, when taken care of and not raped on constatly, have a good rep for being reliable and lasting long times. im actually looking into buy a turboii so that i can use minimal money and have a super fast DD, and build the probe up. and i think the turboii are just cool.

And dont jump all over me for defending Hondas, most honda's i see are rice, SOME however are fast and some have the potential to be extremely fast. the US pgt is 164hp, the ze engine is 200hp, thats around 40 extra hp, just the swap i would be in the low 14s and with weight reduction id be in the high 13s, and using a 100shot will def bring me into the 12s, there have been plenty before me, and will be plenty after me.



the nsx,ITR are slow. ne thing over 12seconds is slow. show me a street legal civic in the 12s, doubt there is one.

H22A isn't the swap of choice because it weighs so much more than the B18. On top of that it really doesnt have that much of a higher output than the B18, it has a lot more torque but at that point the weight penalty pretty much nullifies that advantage.



CRX's and Civic Hatches, i'm not sure on the exact figure but they have like 100ish hp stock.



The B18C which is the Integra GS-R engine has like 170+ something with like 123 ft-lb of torque which is quite a bit more horsepower, almost double the amount. And yeah i messed up a bit i admit on the 12 figure, its more like mid high 13's without any nitrous or turbo, barely add those though and your in the 12's easily. And when i was talking about the B18 swap i forgot to mention that that included i/h/e. I know tahts only partial information but honestly, who does an engine swap and leaves the stock exhaust and exhaust manifold and headers in?

There are actually street legal civics in the 12's but what do you mean by street legal? And honestly what kind of term is that, street legality varies from state to state. Something being street legal in Cali and something being street legal in Wyoming are two very different things, hell a lot of people here's cars arent street legal in the fact that they dont have cats. In fact even if your car passes emissions in California if you have certain non stock mods that arent CARB approved you still dont have a street legal car no matter how little and how insignificant that mod is. I think street driven is a more proper term and there are plenty of those.

anyway, stock civics have 125-145 stock hp, depends on the model and year. and i think the Sis have like 160hp stock. an ITR hitting 12s with minimal boost\nitrous, not gonna happen, they run 14s stock, so idunno bout that.
