You forgot the most important part of the equation BARWICK, TIME!

I don't have enough to go around.

Barwick 09-29-2003 08:51 AM

you're kidding me.. you don't have a mechanically inclined friend who's looking for a job? You could pay the guy a couple hundred bucks to do the job and do it right, and you're still ahead.

edit: wow.. apparently I posted this at 5:41 AM.. that's interesting.. considering it's 9:41.. is the server somewhere in the pacific just west of California?

vosko 09-29-2003 09:57 AM

you have your time set wrong in your control panel

why bother fixing the fenders, just replace them, I wonder if Bonzai has a set of fenders to sell as well, lol.

Roof, hood, doors and 1/4 panel SUCKS when you need bodywork on them.

Besides, I would rather have RX7 needing some minor bodywork then one with that peeling paint.

vosko 09-29-2003 10:32 AM

rob here is your chance!!!! turbo powa!

Rob x-7 09-29-2003 10:36 AM

I would rather re-do my kitchen at this point then take on a project car.

vosko 09-29-2003 11:27 AM

7mech 09-29-2003 12:35 PM

Dammit why couldn't you live in Texas? I could use this car right now. My just got totalled out by the ins. company for hail damage. All I would have to do is switch everything over and get new fenders. BTW does it have a clean title?

banzaitoyota 09-29-2003 12:46 PM

YES it has a clean title

Barwick 09-29-2003 01:13 PM

Hail damage? That's easy to fix.. one N/A non-sunroof roof. Cut it off, weld it onto the TurboII, grind it down, paint it. Fenders & hood are easy to replace, get a fiberglass or carbon fiber and paint it, and fiberglass front end. Now you're lightweight and don't have hail damage

you are having all the luck lately https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Rob x-7 09-29-2003 01:36 PM

sell that hail damage car to me

7mech 09-29-2003 06:28 PM

Yeah my luck sucks right now. About the ony thing going right for me right now is the good deal my wife and I got on an 02 Trailblazer. Nice SUV too.

Barwick I have a sunroof in my TII and like it because my car has no A/C and I live in West Texas.

Rob sorry but I just can't do that. I'm getting new fenders, light covers, sunroof, driverside mirror, and spoiler from Rick Hawley(indyparts on TeamFc3s.org). He's giving me a pretty good deal for buying so many parts at once. I still need new front glass, new paint and some dents fixed in the roof and rear quaters.

banzaitoyota 09-29-2003 07:04 PM

Decided not to sell the car whole. See parts section

bakewvu 09-30-2003 01:26 AM

what is the bottom dollar u will take for the car...dont need the motor

banzaitoyota 09-30-2003 06:32 AM

Not to be rude, but read the post above yours. I am parting the bitch out.
