Were turbo verts sold like that from the factory or did the turbo have to be swapped in?

Only in the good ole US of A did Mazda sell the vert in N/A only. Turbo verts in the USA are converted from N/A

Damn that sux, I saw one by my brothers house the other day and it had a T2 hood, I thought maybe it was a special edition or something.....
