I bought this car 1 year ago, it's a great car, I am just a little tired of the styling, and I'm selling it so I can buy an MR2 .

Anyway, it's got awesome white paint with only minor little marks. Some little chips in the hood (from driving on the highway), and a couple small marks on the front an rear.

It's never failed to start on me, even at 20*F, and it's never flooded on me. Up here at 1 mile high (where the minimum is 65 psi) the motor has 100 psi compression.

The interior is in very good condition. The driver's side seat has a tear in it that the previous owner taped up with duct tape (I never bothered to remove it because it never bothered me), and the passenger speaker tower cover is cracked by the screw holes.

It has a sony xplode deck ($180), but it's getting kinda screwy. Sometimes it won't take CD's for a little bit, but once it takes the CD it plays fine. It also has sony xplode 6x9 3 ways in the storage bins. I still have the stock deck (it was an AM/FM w/ cassette, but no equalizer), it works fine, and all but 2 of the wires are intact from the stock wiring for it. Oh yeah, the antenna (sp?) works, but is a little bent and makes noise as it goes up and down. I disconnected it, but if you want to reconnect it that's what it's like.

For performance it has a header, and the RP (rotary performance) cat-back with the stock main cat. The pre-cat was rattling when I bought it, so it would have fallen apart eventually and clogged the main cat, so the header was a reliability mod too . The studs on the back of the cat are probably crossthreaded, just so you know if you plan to change it. It also has Tokico (blues I think) with suspension techniques springs, they have about 40k on them I think (I bought them from a friend used). The car also has 205/55/R16 Toyo Proxes TPT, and they are H rated I think.

To review:

1989 RX-7 GTUs 5-speed

150k miles

RB header-stock cat

RP cat-back

Tokico shocks, suspension techniques springs

Toyo Proxes TPT

I have all of the stock pieces (exhaust, radio, etc), and some snow tires if you want them (don't ask, my mom bought them)

Also, things I've replaced:

Spark plugs, Engine Oil+filter (obviously), fuel filter, O2 sensor, Tranny Fluid, that's all I can think of now.

And problems the car has: The oil cooler lines leak; it's a very, very slow leak (drip a day), but just so you know. Also, the solenoid for the 6 port actuators broke (the signal might be out too), so I just bridged the line across and the actuators actually open at about the right time anyway. Other than that, I can't think of anything.

One more thing (as if this post isn't long enough already), the car comes with a cover (from back in 89, it was actually made for the car), a factory manual, and some FC pamphlets (they're cool because they talk about the FC like it's the best car in the world).
