im looking for a 89-91 S5 turbo rotary housing. perferabley a rear housing but doesn't matter to much. message me if you have one. thanks

How are you doing? My name is Edgardo , i only want to tell you that turbo ll hounsing and six port housing are the same the only that changed is the exhaust piece means the part that you make bigger when you want to race your take it out of you bad turbo housing and changed to the six port one that's it

what????? so i have 2 good 89-91 S5 NA cores. which means i have 4 good S5 NA housing.....your telling me i can use them for my turbo engine

Yes, the only difference between n/a and turbo is the exhaust sleeve. Its easy to get out if you have access to a welder. Just weld a bead onto the roll pin on the side of the rotor housing, and grab the weld bead with pliers and pull out. It wont stick to or damage the aluminum. Then just put your turbo sleeve in the n/a housing with new roll pins.

Not quite right. The N/A housings have the diffusers, but the turbo housings have the open water jacket to allow coolant to the turbo via the LIM. You can use a N/A housing in the front without much issue as long as the turbo exhaust sleeve is installed. Using the N/A on the rear is more tricky if you are running the stock turbo, as you will need to do some machining to allow the o-ring to sit between the housing and LIM. ah. easy. just so happens i am a welder by trade. i can have that hole machined without a problem. but just for shits and grins how much do you want for that housing? is it in good shape?

thanks banzai but i was talking to mazdaspeed7 hes the one that said he had one for sale. banzai thank you for the info i broke down my two NA engines and sending parts to the machine shop. you probley saved me about 200 bucks. maybe i sould use it to buy that oil pan brace
