A friend and i had these made for our own cars and had a minimum qty requirement to meet so we are selling out the rest of our stock.We found in our travels that they work for FC (having the same inner tie rod OD) We put them on our friends FC and they worked!



DESCRIPTION:



Steering angle is one of the biggest problems with the RX-7. It's alright for street driving or drag racing, but for drifting, autox and tighter road race courses, a little more angle goes a long way. These spacers are a simple and easy way to get more steering angle.



What they do is space out the stop on the inner tie rod allowing the rack to travel slightly more. More rack travel means more steering angle. The car does need to be realigned after installing these or at least toe will need to be readjusted. But a good alignment is something good to do at least once a year.



We have used these in cars for drifting and for road racing and the spacers were nice to have for both. If you've ever tried to drift your rx-7, you will know that the angle really limits the drifting. With these spacers, angle is increased to the point where it has about the same amount of steering angle as a 240sx.



Before I put the spacers on the car, i had to totally adjust the way I was used to driving. Entries suffered and I wasn't able to have as much fun with the car as I was used to from driving S13. After the spacers, the car was totally transformed. It entered much easier, you could hang it out a lot more and carry further through the drift and it pretty much made the car good.



They aren't as important for road racing because there aren't many times that you are using that much steering angle unless you're on a really tight track or need to correct. They actually have helped out when the car got a little loose on me, the car came out a little too far and if I hadn't had the extra steering angle from the spacers, I would've went right around. I'm sure they would help on some autox courses as well.



They're also nice for street driving. Tighter turning radius, it's easier to park, nothing performance related, but it does makes things a little nicer.
