Hello Fellow RX7 Enthusiasts,

Let me take a moment to introduce myself… Many of you know me as Indyparts. For those of you who don’t, my name is Rick Hawley, and I, with a little help from my friends, have been providing the Rx7 community with parts for nearly 10 years. However, like all great small ventures, it has come time to expand. Allow me to introduce, Rick’s Speed Shop. We are in construction phase of this endeavor that should be in full production during the Spring of 2008. The shop is based in Winchester, Indiana and has plenty of space for expansion. Our mission will be to continue to provide quality parts and great service for a fair price.

Over the course of the many years, Indyparts has accumulated over 50+ FC shells with a handful of FB and FD shells as well. The availability to find that one part “To make your baby purrr” will not change, but we decided to expand into other areas as well. I, Rick, often have many “irons in the fire” or “balls in the air,” pick your cliché – realized Indyparts need some help. Rick’s speed shop would like to welcome Mike Smith. Mike has substantial FB and FC experience under his belt. In addition he is currently working on his project which is a Rotary powered Mazda B2000 pickup. You can see more information on this at the website. Mike will be heading up the parts sales from this point forward and getting acclimated with the current inventory. If you need anything specific for your Mazda (specifically 86-91) please get in touch with him. We are excited about bringing him on and hope that he will be able to assist the community.

Going forward, we plan to branch out past parts sales and work towards engineering custom parts specifically for the 2nd / 3rd Generation Mazda Rx7. In addition, we plan to start a powder coating service with core return. With the broad amount of parts we already have inventory, exchange service should keep things simple. Look for custom cars being built for customers as well. Who knows where it will end :-)

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
