OK its USED and by the looks of it needs an overhaul. Approx $500 for the overhaul IF it needs it, better to be safe and good working before it goes in.

Changes push to pull of vise versa(always get it backwards)

Its on the auction, but its only at $240. right now, so that means brand new clutch at $740 plus shipping WRONG, this clutch is the most popular clutch in Japan. So im thinking closer to $400 just to get the clutch in the buyers 20,000km usage....

I just wanted to put it up since I have a lot of e-mails on these, and I know people dont want to pay the new price (even though its worth it) so here is USED.

Can you burn out a clutch in 12.4k mi? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/blink.png

Is this the twin plate version?

This is just the clutch but no flywheel in package deal, correct?

LDawg 01-13-2004 06:41 PM

I think it goes come with the fly wheel as do most twin plate clutches. Or am I completely wrong?

Ok I will help clear up the questions, the clutch is a complete unit, the conversion kit Jason mentions is for FD style setups. FC uses a push type, FD uses a pull type clutch, in order to use this in a FD you have to have the conversion kit. The rebuild will depend on the thickness of the plates, new is 4.1-4.2mm on OS units, anything less than 3mm means rebuild. This clutch is a twin plate design, the only thing I do not see in the pictures Jason has put up that would be needed to mount this unit is a counterweight from an automatic. Understand this brand new is $1500+ so getting the full kit, plus the conversion kit (another $400) is a damn steal for what you get at Jasons price. The Flywheel and plates are all part of a twin plate, so yes you get a flywheel too.
