I am selling my brand new never installed 6-point Kirk Racing Roll Cage. It is NHRA approved with the thicker tubing. It does not require the use of the rear bins so you can keep them. It comes with the main hoop, two cross bars for the rear which go into the small little cubby holes that hold the jack and lug nut wrench and key (so those would have to be put somewhere else), it also has two door bars, two front legs which follow the roof line to the front and come down by the dash, and one windshield bar which goes in between the two front legs. It more or less is an 8-point cage, but Kirk Racing sold it as a 6 point. I paid over $600 for it a few months ago, but my project is taking more time and money then I originally had planned for so I am selling my cage for now.

I have pics if anyone is interested. You must have a 6-point cage if you run faster than an 11.99 and I know alot of you do or will be soon.

Asking $500+shipping.

how about doors... can u still use the doors normally or will it interfere with entry???

lane_change 05-04-2003 12:49 AM

Sorry I forgot to ass that....no doors. You would have to remove the doors just install the cage with some window nets. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Just Kidding....everything works fine with the doors and all. You would kind of have to step over the cage a bit to get in....nothing bad. Maybe just a bit worse than getting into a car with a racing seat in it. I mean....you can't slide right in anymore, you will have to make an effort, but since this cage is built to protect you and your passengers and it can't do that if it is on the floor.

If you have a fast enough car to require this serious a cage, than I would hope that this slight inconvinence is ok with you...it's not a big deal...but if you only need a cage for looks....get a different one. A cage of this stature is good enough down to a 9.99 ET so if you are driving a car faster than that...I hope you have a cage already.

Thanks,

Scott
