Used TII engine. I don't know a whole lot about this engine. It has been sitting in a garage for about 3 years, but I was told that it ran fine before it was removed and had less than 50,000 miles on it at that point. This engine comes complete with the Turbo, Clutch/Flywheel, etc. (You can have the ECU with it if you want, but I'm told it's a non-turbo ECU)



I'm a first gen guy, and I don't know a lot about these engines. I believe it's a 87-88 motor, but I imagine somebody out there can tell for sure from the pictures.



Please note, there are several interesting 'features', like: A first gen front cover, what I've been told is an REPU oil pain, and some missing pieces like the wiring harness, front pulley, and some tubes. The upper intake manifold has been removed and is kinda 'loose' on top, there are some misc. bolts and nuts missing.



The engine turns over great by hand, and has even compression pulses. I've run ATF through it a couple of times during storage to keep everything lubed up. There is some in-and-out 'play' if you push IN on the flywheel assembly...I think it's just from the front pulley being off. I have a 10MB video of me turning the engine over and of the flywheel 'play' if desired.



The turbo seems good too, no play.



The price is right, I need to get rid of this engine! $600.



I have not tried to start this engine, I have not heard it run. I've never installed it in a car, I've just had a hard time finally convincing myself to sell it.



Obviously I'd prefer local pickup, in Lincoln, NE (near Omaha). I do have it strapped to a pallet and ready to ship, though. If you're interested, I'll get a shipping quote, it's a 36"X36"X30" package, I'm guessing 350 pounds.
