I am looking to sell my HKS Hipermax Coilovers from my FD. They have about 10k on them and have plenty of life left. Included will be pillow ball mounts and spanner wrenches. Asking price is $950 + shipping. Email for details. They are still currently installed on the car, but I have pics of them before installation.

any feedback on how they performed while they were on your car?

FourtyOunce 10-14-2003 05:33 PM

performance was quite good. the springs provided from HKS are progressive rates and are not linear. im selling because i want a coilover setup thats a little more agressive.

Are they Hypermax or Hypermax II?

Do you know the spring rates?

Where are you located? ...I sent you e-mail.

FourtyOunce 10-14-2003 11:21 PM

there are only 10 dampening adjustments, so they are the Hypermax units and not the Hypermax II's, which im assuming have the 30 adjustment points for dampening. i am in NJ. i dont have that many posts here, but im pretty well known on the other forum.

BTW, no installment plans right now. but if you want, you can pay me 100 for the next 10 months, but i have to keep the coilovers. i'll take them off the car and store them for you, of course. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

ill thank about it ... hehe

Well I can't afford to buy them right now but i'm willing to trade springs... if you are?

I currently have JIC SF1's with 10kg/8kg's and they are too stiff for me. They are linear as I prefer over progressive but if yours are softer then it would work maybe (do you know the spring rates). My SF1's has less them 3k mi on them (dampers & springs) but not adjustable.
