this wont work on a FD will it?

Rob x-7 10-10-2006 08:27 PM

very tempting, im assuming it wont work with a stock battery or bumper?

amp 10-10-2006 09:42 PM

wont work with the fd unless you got creative with the piping...

rob.. she works with the stock battery..its what i have on there now..

as far as the bumper...theres some cutting involved to clear.. the previous owner just hacked away...

theres also cuttin by the lighting to run the pipes through.. both passenger and driver side..

Rob x-7 10-10-2006 09:54 PM

I could get another bumper, wonder about AC clearance?

rotary632 10-10-2006 09:59 PM

just pm'd u rob

amp 10-10-2006 10:04 PM

you can retain the ps and ac... although tight..

as far as the ac.. its close to the pipe that runs from the firewall to the compressor.. but clears..

you will need to relocate the leading ignition coil..

Rob x-7 10-11-2006 06:03 AM

Im not keeping PS, have a manual rack and already have the AC braket for a car with no PS.

find someone to buy the BOV and maybe we can work something out.

I have a FMIC now, but its not as large as that one. It was supporting a large turbo, I think I might be missing some of the pipping as well.

amp 10-11-2006 08:58 AM

the piping on this kit is for stock turbo rob...

there will be a need for custom piping to fit a larger turbo

Rob x-7 10-11-2006 11:39 AM

hmmm, pipe coming off the elbow looks right, maybe just the turbo side would have to be modified?

Would you happen to still have the GReddy FMIC/piping/elbow stuff for sale by any chance? if so, e-mail me at wmerk0120@trenholmtech.cc.al.us thanks.

I assume "sold" is referring to the other link?
