After a year of manufacturing pedals for FD's I've had requests from the FC community to make some for them.

The hard part was designing the brake & clutch pedals (both in looks & security).

The gas & dead pedal are direct bolt on using exsisting holes, secured with aircraft grade hardware. The brake & clutch are held with retainer that holds the entire top of the pedal with stainless steel hardware.

So are they actually better performing, ie: better grip? Im interested but don't have the $$ right now, those do look nice though.

Sled Driver 01-13-2003 01:05 AM

They do offer better grip than the stock hard rubber covers. Thepedals have a bead blasted finish, kind of like 150 grit sand paper, but don't take my word for it. Check out the comments section of my web site. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

those are very nice indeed, they bolt in place of the stock ones or over?

Sled Driver 01-13-2003 07:48 PM

You remove the stock rubber covers form all the pedals. Then they bolt on.

They bolt right in, very nice! those other junk ones just grab on to your stock ones. I need to start saving for a set!

Damn it all to hell! I just recently purchased a 3 pedal Sparco set (with rubber nubs) for a good deal. Speedware had a 20% off sale last month of them. Otherwise I would have bought these. Sorry Mr. Sled. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Hmm, have you thought about making engine torque braces such as ther one you made for yourself? Even some for FC's such as, hmm, let's say my car? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png Care to use mine as a guinea pig? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

See you at the track when you can make it again.

Sled Driver 01-23-2003 12:44 AM

Hey Steve,

My lastest project is a custom camera mount for my FD https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png (future sale item)

I'll be back at the track in Feb. I got a set of Hoosiers to try out. IM going to be out of town this weekend for the 1st slush race.

We need to get together about the engine brace, see what we can come up with :bigthumg:

You should unload those Sparco pedals on "some forum" & get my set, I'll make you a killer deal.

Jerk_Racer 01-23-2003 08:36 PM

OK. Will do. Seeing pics of yours and knowing mine, yours are much better. The Sparcos are too small IMO. Plus they don't seem too grippy, especially with wet shoes.

I'll be at all Slush Series events as far as I can see. Drop me a PM next time you know that you'll be out there.
