aight guys this was my first double-sided prototype of my old reverse cowl hoods I used to make. It my older design and made off of an older mold. i am working on a newer mold and different design and the guy I made it for would rather have the new design I am making, which will also be cleaner. i experimented with this thing a bit and the person that wanted to buy didnt care much for weight so its a about on par with an aluminum hood considering the hoods i make weigh quite a bit less. This hood has a few minor issues like a few waves that need to be sanded out and it needs a good prep before being painted, and with most aftermarket parts you would need that anyhow, but I am not satisfied with this leaving my hands as considered my top quality work when it isnt, so basically I'm willing to TJ Max this hood just to recoup the amount of money i spent in material on the thing, so if anyone is interested let me know. Shipping is probably around 160 insured and with crating fees (my last hood got fucded during shipping because of a weak box, lesson learnt) so ur looking around $390 to your door probably depending on location. The pics posted are when it was primered brown and not quite finished, but better to show an ugly pic and it dirty. i could easily sell this for more but I think honesty is priceless and not worth a few hundred dollars. So for someone to do a bit of sanding and some prep then this is a bargain. Hit me up if interested.
