Hi, I my engine blew a while back and I decided to rebuild it myself. So I made myself an engine stand adaptor. I was wondering if there was any interest in these as I can make them for a lot cheaper than the mazdatrix ones. Well if you're interested in something like this, let me know. You can PM me or email me at doublearon@cox.net.
Thanks, Aaron |
I would be interested. email me some more info. cplotz_7@hotmail.com

I'll try to get some pics tomarrow. Note, this is the prototype and it looks pretty crude. Do not worry though, the welder doing this is a certified welder and has a lot of experience. This thing looks like it'll take a tank shell. I am thinking about $60+shipping for these. sound fair?

|
Just give me a bit to work everything out and get some pics up of the prototype, and hopefully in a couple of days, what the final product will look like.
Thanks, Aaron |
BI state Customs is selling them for 50.00 shipped.
Here is the number 618-234-0069 Doesn't mean you can't make them too! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif |
I have to ask y?
Take the arms off a head unit and it bolts right up. Also PR sells a nice unit that is not welded for ~45.00 |
But if you bolt it straight onto the stand, it will not be centered, making it harder to rotate the engine. Although I was unaware that you could even do that, I thought the adapter was a necessity.
|
Also, by PR did you mean Pineapple Racing? cuz they sell theirs for $69.
|
I must have got a good deal on mine then
|
Uh, You do not need an adapter, i did mine right on the egine stand just as banzaitoyota mentioned.
My engine stand was $40 or so from harborfrieght.com. I had no problem whatsoever rotating the engine while it was on the stand. It sits perfectly straight without any adaptor. You guys are thinking into this way to much.. |

Here either, as you can clearly see the whole thing stayed on the stand just fine..
|
Well... I guess you guys have proven me stupid. I wish I had known that the adapter was not needed earlier.
|
Im not saying your stupid, Im just trying to save you some time.
