Hi I am trying to look for a rotary engine for my dads 1990 Mazda rx-7. I'm not quite sure about all of these rotarys and Mazdas. I'm more a muscle car fan myself. He says it most be from an 88-92 rx-7. And a 13 B whatever that means

You'll need an 89-91 motor. Where are you located, and how much do you want to spend?

We are located in Belleville Ontario Canada. Anything within North America would be okay. I would like to spend as little as possible but I wouldn't go much higher than 1500$ (Canadian) It's suppose to be a present and I'm only 15 so I can't afford much any engine that would work coudl you please reply to this and I will decide if I can find a way to affrod it

Thank you

I don't think so. I just bought my first car. 1972 Plymouth Satellite. Me and my dad are putting a 454 in it in about 3 or 4 months

I've never driven a big block car, but I've driven a few 350's and 305's, including my friend's 2001 Corvette. Those are good motors in my opinion.

Your best bet is to find a good running used engine. If you could wait until the winter or early spring I'd be able to get you a good one with a known history. Otherwise you can just look on http://www.teamfc3s.org and http://www.thepartstrader.com . Those sites sometimes have some good stuff.
