just to let everyone know who's interested, im starting my rotary AE86 project next month. Using the motor from my 84 gsl-se, with internals from a 91 n/a, and a custom built garrett t3/04.

well i have an 84 that i drive, and i figured it'd be an easy swap

Cool, but use a full t4 turbo. T3 is for the 4cyc guys.

well, i got the turbo for free out of an 85 turbocoupe then had it rebuilt and upgraded and modded for external wastegate. just working with what i can afford

Make sure you post pics (engine mounts & ****)....I've been wanting an AE86 for a while...GTS are too $$$ and to convert an SR5 is a pain in the ***. I was actually thinkin of doing an N/A swap. I could probably get away with an SR5 with a 13B carby swap.

yeah, thats what i did, put the gts rearend and suspension and tranny in mine, even though i wont need the tranny
