When I was at Pettits today this came in to dyno.
28 lbs of boost and 530 RWHP. Low 9 second car insane!! I though I would share with the class. I like the intake setup. Looks like a blow through carb but its not. Very cool. http://www.jims5543.com/albums/album...0144.sized.jpg http://www.jims5543.com/albums/album...0143.sized.jpg http://www.jims5543.com/albums/album...0142.sized.jpg http://www.jims5543.com/albums/album...0141.sized.jpg http://www.jims5543.com/albums/album...0140.sized.jpg http://www.jims5543.com/albums/album...0139.sized.jpg |

low 9 second car........ definately sick
|
is that a throttle return spring anchored to the fender?
|
as already stated, corolla....its nice, my friend will prob bust a nut when he sees that. hes been bugging about putting a rotary in one of his corollas...
and yeah that throttle return spring is on the fender...must be a rican. |
First - My bad on titling the thread Celica. Sorry I brain farted I knew it was a carolla I was high from dyno exhaust funes when I was putting this up.
They seemed to be Ricans but the car had "Lil Haiti" on the side window in shoe polish. So you figure it out. The maual boost control is on the fender in front of the spring. LOL. It used to be inside the car but they kept turning it up and they blew the engine. They are running 28 PSI on a street port. Not too shabby. They are using a Haltech E6K to control it. |
ROTOR-'ROLLA!
|
Wow, that car is NICE!
So, can someone explain the function of that unique intake? Sure does look like a blow-through setup, but since it isn't, what is it?! |
