Hi Everyone! My names is Tuck Rion. I live near Myrtle Beach , South Carolina. I have just recently finished construction of a Locost 7 powered by a 13b six port with weber 45 dcoe carburation. The fith and sixth ports are open all the time. The engine has had a very mild porting done to it, otherwise it is basicly stock. I don't know how much power the engine makes yet but plan to dyno it soon. It really doesen't matter anyway since the car only weighs 1380 pounds, it dosen't need much power. After a quick ride in the country it does however require a plastic surgeon to remove the great big smile from your face!!

I already know that even though the car is now finished that there will be an ongoing list of inprovements and changes with the car, but then thats half the fun anyway. This has been my first experience with a rotary, but I am happy to say that so far it has been a very good one. If there is anyone else that has a 13b with the 45 dcoe Weber, I would be intrested to know how you have it set up, jets, intake ect. My engine seems to run great, but I have no basis to go by. Also if any one is thinking about doing a "7" build, I would be happy to anwer questions. I have attached a picture of the car. Enjoy!

Thanks,

Tuck

im gatherin shes street legal..

if not.. id replace those mufflers on the side with short dump straight pipes..

Thanks for the positive responses everyone! The Car is street legal. I don't have alot of pictures from the build, but I will see if I can get the few pictures that I have and some pics of the engine and other details posted soon. The process for titleing and registration here in South Carololina is pretty staight forward, easy, and there is no charge or fees for it. The mufflers are those stainless steel 3 inch diameter presilencer and muffler from Racing Beat, they are fairly quiet for normal driving witha nice throaty tone, but when you get on it a little bit you can then tell that there is something there. I'm quite pleased with the way they sound.

Very nice! But this is making me a little sad. I had a '72 Europa TC project stored for over 10+ years. Never got to finish it.

Hey Crimson Tide! I think that a rotary powered Europa would be really cool! However, I had dinner with a truly diehard british, british car enthusiast not long ago. He asked me now that the seven was about done what was next on the agenda? I told him that I was thinking about finding a XKE Jaguar with a blown engine and putting a 20B three rotor in the Jaguar. My freind told me that if I did that, GOD would strike me down!!!

It was just a thought,

Tuck

P.S. I always had trouble driving the Europa, My feet were to big for the pedal box.
