Contents of Rotary Miata conversion kit.

Rotary Miata conversion kit. What's included? you may ask yourself.... We'll here's a very basic draft of

what to look for from the team at Mazsport.

Custom Aluminum Oil Pan

Engine Mounts and custom Brackets

Modified Subframe, on exchange basis.

Transmission subframe, misc brackets, transmission mount

Differential locater

Rear axles

Modified/custom fit Slave cylinder hard-line

Relocated/modified clutch hardline mounting tab

Optional Items that MAY be included (some highly recommended for turbo rotary applications).........................

Modified fuel line

Modified/custom fit brake line(s)

Modified/custom fit Coil mounts

Radiator Brackets

(Radiator must be mounted futher back towards engine to provide enough area for custom (front mount intercooler

pipes to clear) Stock top mount intercooler may be used, but provisions in factory hood must be made. IE: hood scoop must be adapted

to stock Miata hood to provide ample cooling for TMIC.

Optional modified/custom A/C bracket must be installed if A/C unit is going to be left in working order.

I'm sure there are going to be ALOT of questions regarding this Conversion kit. A detailed instruction manual

is going to be released with the kit as well. Please Note: that this kit will require many custom brackets, relitive

level of difficulty is HIGH for an install like this. You will also need access to welding equipment.

At this point, power steering is NOT an option.

Obviously either a turbo rotary engine or N/A rotary engine's can be fitted into the chassis.

We will have more photographs and ALOT more general information to come. price unfourtunatly cannot be discussed over the

forum. Please E-mail me for Price estimates.... ect..ect.

Futher questions may be directly sent VIA E-mail to me at Mazsportparts@hotmail.com

Have a good day gentlemen,

seems like this conversion is for a 13bt engine........ would this also allow a 13b-rew to fit?

FiKsE l2X SeVeN Jr 01-25-2004 03:40 PM

does this kit fit the smaller, older miatas too?

relisys190 02-10-2004 03:30 PM

Yes the kit fits ALL currently produced and Seen miata's. This included the NA chassis AND NB chassis

For more information give Mazsport a call and Scott will give you the rundown of the kit and the installation information.

13B REW is FDs, correct? if its set up for 13BT, then the engine mounts need to be modified. something along center plate as opposed to rear plate, i believe.
