im sorry, did you read what you said? also post some pics. well u must be puerto rican like me cause we are the crazy ones puttin rotaries where they dont belong i got an 81 toyota starlet with 12a nitroso turbo 2 tranny its way easy to do a transplant first make sure they make the front engine mounts pa los dos puntos con una barra de metal gordita y bien soldada bolted to the chassi then u gotta make the mounts for the tranny underneath the car. most times u gotta cut the tunnel so ur shifter fits then get a custom rear end the easiest one is from 60s low 70s datsun pick ups cause u dont gotta cut em nor the axles just relocate the brackets and thats it for last get a custom driveshaft made on ur favorite driveshaft shop get some weld racing rims couple of msd boxes relojeria buen cloche nitro y mucha gasolina and enjoy ur ride |

sorry bro but you wont find any info or websites on how to do custom things on them toyotas cause thats where the people get their money customizing. just try to get with any guy that make chassis and hell do it for you in chromoly as far as the engine mounts tranny mounts same thing driveshaft same thing and rear end same dude lol but just letting you know its gonna cost you big money as far as how i made mine i got way too many friends old school ones that helped me out alot and cheap in work together. if u near atlanta i can hook u up with my boy and hell doi it for you everything including driveshaft and rear end for a great price Damn, that looks like my brother's old car. Did you buy it from a young dude named Eric? My brother lives in Town -n- Country in Tampa, FL. |
no, I bought it from a guy named jason. He did live in town-n-country though. He worked at Advance Auto parts on Dale mabry. Thanks for the info people. I guess I will just have to fab up the mounts myself. I want new ones and will probably make them myself.

The front cover has the mounting points for the RX7 mounting bracket. You'll have to use that and extend the bracket so it's equal on both sides. If you get one fron a RX2 then use that, it's equal on both sides. You'll have to cut off the stock toyota mounts and weld some type of bracket to the frame rails to mate with the rotary bracket. For the tranny bracket you'll have to make a bracket that looks like this: \_______/ or a variation of that depending on where your stock chassis bolts are. The stock tranny mount will fasten to (approx) the center of that "U" / "V" bracket. It's really not too hard you just have to be a little creative. |
