You sure it's that light? I'd say more like 1700-1800 lbs.
The R100 (which is a tiny car) weighed 1800 lbs. The Datsun 1200 Which many people race or put Rotaries in and race was 1600-1700 lbs. The MG's specs I have seen list them at 1800 lbs for a 1962 I'm sure they got heaver as they got more modern.... wait this is a british car... okay stratch the modern part. |

midgets are about 700kg..so i guess about 1400pounds.
